On October 25th, Sinocera Create-tide Botao Ink Dongying Production Base was honored by the presence of distinguished guests from across the ceramic industry, including association leaders, experts, enterprise representatives, and media delegates. All attendees walked the red carpet to witness the grand ceremony marking the completion and full operation of Phase I and the groundbreaking of Phase II.
That same day, accompanied by Chairman Zhang, General Manager Wang, and other staff, the guests toured two factories of Shandong Sinocera and the production lines of Sinocera Create-tide. They spoke highly of Shandong Sinocera's strict management standards and the numerous industry honors it has earned. Meanwhile, they showed great interest in Sinocera Create-tide's ink production lines in Dongying. At the sight of the large storage tanks and grinding equipment operating steadily in the newly-built workshop, the guests were unanimous in their praise.
The ceramic ink project is implemented by Sinocera Create-tide, a joint venture established by Sinocera Materials and Foshan Create-tide Inorganic Chemical Co., Ltd. It is reported that since the two parties reached a cooperation intention at the end of last year, they have leveraged Sinocera Materials' nano-scale production technology in electronic functional materials, as well as its experience and foundation in fine chemical production management. This has transformed the extensive production mode of ceramic pigment and glaze enterprises, introduced the concept of fine chemical industry into ceramic ink production, and achieved product stability. In terms of production capacity, the company currently has an annual production capacity of 5,000 tons of colorants and 10,000 tons of glazes in Sanshui, Foshan. Following the commissioning of the Dongying Production Base with a monthly capacity of 300 tons in Phase I, the Phase II project will be put into production next June, adding another 500 tons of monthly capacity. In addition, the company has established an R&D team led by five Ph.D. holders from home and abroad. The "BOTAO" brand ceramic ink matches the quality of imported inks. The product has been applied to various brands of machines and nozzles domestically and internationally. It performs excellently across all applications and ensures seamless switching between batches or formulations. At the same time, the company has achieved cost reduction through advantages such as large-scale procurement and self-supply of colorants, enabling the ceramic ink products to maintain a good profit level despite a significant drop in prices.
Ceramic ink is a new type of ceramic coloring material emerging alongside inkjet printing technology. Domestically, this technology is gradually replacing traditional processes, boasting promising market prospects. The current domestic market demand stands at approximately 20,000 tons and is expected to maintain rapid growth in the coming years, with the market scale projected to reach 30,000-50,000 tons. However, imported ink still dominates the market, and only a handful of domestic enterprises, such as Sinocera Create-tide, possess the capability to produce ceramic ink.
After the celebration ceremony, Sinocera Create-tide organized a media meeting. Following the meeting, all guests were invited to visit the magnificent scenery of the Yellow River Estuary. Finally, the event concluded successfully with a harmonious dinner, leaving both hosts and guests thoroughly satisfied.
